BEACH LAKE, PA — Georgette Pascotto and Pat Sanders will present a multimedia program of spoken word and song celebrating the life and music of Pete Seeger on Sunday, February 23 at 10:15 a.m. at the Berlin Township Community Center.

Seeger, who died on January 27 of this year at the age of 94, was a voice for justice and equity from the 1940s until the end of his life. He was an active steward of the environment, and he worked for civil and labor rights, racial equality, international understanding and antimilitarism. Seeger’s music was in service of his activism, animating protest movements throughout the decades.
