NARROWSBURG, NY — A new yoga studio recently opened in Narrowsburg at 25 Main St. Breathe Yoga and Body Works is owned by certified yoga teacher Jane Morris and also offers Pilates, massage, Reiki, Zumba and workshops. All of the instructors are certified and licensed. Upcoming workshops will include drumming, tai chi, shiatsu and more.

Morris is certified in Kripalu yoga, which is the study of traditional hatha yoga postures, breathing technique and deep relaxation. She has many years of yoga experience and owned her own studio in Titusville, NJ and was the first yoga teacher to teach yoga at Princeton House, an affiliate of Princeton Medical Center in Princeton, NJ. She was also hired by Homefront, an organization in New Jersey, where she taught yoga to the young children of homeless women, allowing them to search for work.

Morris said Breathe Yoga and Body Works is here for the community. She said, “My intention is to bring healing and other modalities to Narrowsburg and the surrounding areas.” She said the classes are affordable and that anyone can do yoga.
