MONTICELLO, NY — The Monticello Central School will hold community forums on Wednesday, February 5 at 7 p.m. at the Cooke Elementary School and on Wednesday, February 12 at 6:30 p.m.at the Chase Elementary School. The purpose of the forums is to give residents an opportunity to help identify and define some of the characteristics that the new Superintendent of Schools should possess. Both forums, hosted by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), will be held in the school gymnasiums.

Larry Thomas, District Superintendent at Sullivan BOCES and Search Consultant for the district, will facilitate each forum. That night Thomas will give an overview of the recruitment process and update attendees on the status of the search. Come and give your input concerning the needs of the district as they relate to the new Superintendent.

The Board of Education encourages all district residents attend.

For more information, contact the Monticello Central School at 845/794-7700 ext. 70511 or Sullivan County BOCES at 845/295-4016.
