MONTICELLO, NY — The Friends of the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library will sponsor artist Danielle Barbour for a two-session storyboarding workshop on two Saturdays, February 1 and 8, with a snow date of Saturday, February 15. The workshop will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

In September of 2013, Barbour taught a basic drawing workshop for teens at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library. In February, Barbour will return to the library for a more in-depth storyboarding workshop. Barbour will spend two Saturdays at the library and will teach teens the basics of drawing comic characters, how to develop those characters, build worlds, and create stories. Drawings from Barbour’s last class are on display at the library.

This is a free program sponsored by the Friends of the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library. Advanced registration is required. Call Joanna at 845/794-4660 ext. 8 to register, or for more information.
