‘Simple Gifts’ is theme of 4-H workshops for youth
LIBERTY, NY — Children looking for a way to create an easy gift for loved ones or just wanting to learn a new craft can attend the annual 4-H Youth Winter Workshops on Saturday, December 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. The program will be held at Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County’s Gerald J. Skoda Extension Education Center.
“Simple Gifts” is the theme of this event, which features 10 stations of make-and-take activities for youth five years of age and up, as well as an opportunity to participate in three 4-H Community Service projects. A $10 fee per child ($5 discount for enrolled 4-H’ers) buys a punch card accessing the 10 stations of activities reflecting the season.
Enrollment is limited so pre-registration with payment is required. Call 845/292-6180 to register youth, obtain more information, or learn how to participate in the community service projects.
