LIBERTY, NY — The Town of Liberty Senior Citizens Center will host weekly activities and special events for Liberty community members. Provided by the Sullivan County Office of Aging, a hot lunch will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 12 noon. Those interested must pre-order meals the day prior, and a suggested donation of $3 is encouraged. Following the lunch, seniors are welcome to join in on actvities that start at approximately 12:30 p.m., once the meal is completed.
Weekly events kick off with “Free Bingo Days” on Mondays. Wednesdays and Fridays are “Your Choice” days. Enjoy conversation with friends, play cards and table games, along with billiards, table tennis and much more.
Seniors must be a resident of the Town of Liberty and be 60 years of age or older to participate. For more information about the lunches and programs, please contact the Town of Liberty Senior Citizens Center at 845/292-1033.
