LIBERTY, NY — Luke Roth tries his skills at the Automotive Tech’s Pit Stop Challenge at the Career & Tech Expo at Sullivan BOCES from January 22 through 25. The expo was a perfect opportunity for students to see first-hand what programs the Career & Tech Educational Center (C&TEC) offers and explore the different educational options when they enter high school. Activities included everything from handling animals from the animal science program, to changing a tire at the automotive tech’s NASCAR pit-stop challenge to working Innovative Design’s computers to create a landscaping or a gaming character, to using the welding program’s virtual welder. For more information on the programs available through the C&TEC, visit scboces.org/CTE or call 845/295-4152.
