‘Are you talking to ME?’

We finally arrive at our destination, Hoboken, which is a great town with shopping and restaurants all lining Washington Street just a short walk from the station. Arthur’s Tavern fills us with their 24-oz. steak cooked to perfection along with a liter or two of draft, ice cold from the tap. We made sure to stop at Carlo’s Bakery (of “Cake Boss” fame) for a sweet treat for the train ride home.

Our trip home was punctuated by a beautiful sunset as we passed back over the Moodna Viaduct. It is said that a sunset steals the colors from the earth and returns them the next morning. Today was exceptional, glad we took the trip, which I know will warm me long into the coming winter’s chill.
