Montgomery man charged with DWI
Saturday, January 28, 2012 - Troopers stopped Mr. David Titmas Jr, age 48 of Montgomery, NY for a traffic violation on Mamakating Rd while operating a 2004 Jeep Cherokee. He was found to be intoxicated and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. He was issued tickets returnable to the T/Mamakating court on February 1, 2012.
Wurtsboro Troopers arrest Wurtsboro woman for drug charges
On January 22, 2012, State Police in Wurtsboro responded to a 911 call regarding a possible drug overdose in the Village of Wurtsboro. While Troopers spoke with Julia Norton, a 50 year old resident of Wurtsboro, they observed cocaine in plain view on a cocktail table in the living room. Norton did not overdose and was arrested for Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 5th and 7th degree and Possession of Marihuana. She was sent to Sullivan County Jail, no bail.
