White Sulphur Springs

Transformation Choir will sing the cantata “A Season to Celebrate” by Allen Pote as part of worship services in celebration of the Day of Pentecost, at the White Sulphur Springs Methodist Church, 7:30pm. There will be a free will offering to benefit local food pantries. Refreshments will be served following worship. 845/887-4346.

The Liberty Community Development Corporation is organizing Sullivan County’s first touch-a-truck event, to be held at the White Sulphur Springs Firemen’s Park, 10am-4pm. Touch-a-truck events allow kids (of all ages) to experience fire equipment. Admission: $3. 845/292-8202.

Professional Women of Sullivan County meeting at the White Sulphur Springs Inn, networking 6pm, followed by dinner at 6:30pm. The speaker will be Matt Kansy RD CPT, and the topic is Rejuvenating New Year's Resolutions for Healthy Eating. The cost including tax and tip is $22. All are invited (including men). The Professional Women of Sullivan County will be holding their next meeting at the White Sulphur Springs Restaurant, networking at 6pm, followed by dinner at 6:30pm. The speaker will be Beverly Paige, and the topic is Conquering Clutter. Dinner choices will be chicken noodle soup or salad, filet of salmon with dill sauce, chicken Kiev with wild rice, or pasta primavera. Rolls and butter, veggies, dessert and coffee/tea will be served. The cost including tax and tip is $22. All are invited (including men).
