Memorial Day Event at Steamtown NHS

Steamtown NHS is planning a “Troops and Trains” event for Memorial Day weekend, on the park grounds to include a "troop train" reenactment excursion to Jessup on Saturday, May 23. Event included with daily entrance fee; train ride extra, $24/$22/$17.

A Flower Garden of Art

Veteran suicide prevention, PTSD seminar

Scranton Sesquicentennial Special Excursion

Civil War Presentation at Steamtown NHS

Members of the Confederation of Union Generals will "Meet the Public" in a one-hour presentation at 1 pm, Steamtown National Historic Site. To celebrate winter and the tradition of ice harvesting in the Pocono Mountains, Steamtown National Historic Site's Changing Exhibits Gallery will feature an exhibit entitled, "A Cool Look at the Ice Industry" through April 26. Park hours are 9am-4pm, and the exhibit is included with daily entrance fee.
