On November 25-26, State Police Units from Liberty, Wurtsboro, Narrowsburg, and Roscoe conducted a DWI Roadcheck in the Town of Thompson. The following 3 people were arrested for DWI:

Patrick C. Bloom, age 34, from Westbrookville, NY. He is to appear in the Town of Thompson Court on 12/05/11.

Peter J. Wilcox, age 51, from Pine Bush, NY. He is to appear in the Town of Thompson Court on 12/05/11.

Anibal Gutierrez, age age 31, from Smallwood, NY. He is to appear in the Town of Thompson Court at a later date.

Troopers also issued 15 traffic tickets during the Roadcheck.

The NEW YORK STATE POLICE at Wurtsboro, N. Y. announce the arrest of Brent J. Davis, age 45 of Hazelhurst Ave., Glen Rock, N. J. and Renner Rd., Rock Hill, N. Y., and Louis Raible, 50 years old, of Lafayette Pl., Englewood, N. J. for Criminal Possession of Marihuana 2nd degree (Felony) ,Unlawfully Growing Cannabis (Misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (Violation).  Read more

Responding to complaints from residents of the Emerald Green and Lake Louise Marie sub divisions in Rock Hill, sheriff’s deputies and state troopers raided the Las Vegas Sports Bar and Gill located at 227 Lake Louise Marie Rd. early the morning of October 29. The establishment, which was formerly known as the Dodge Inn under a previous owner, was found to be serving alcohol without a valid New York State Liquor license. The Las Vegas Bar has been the scene of several disturbances and assaults recently, with some patrons observed to be wearing gang colors.  Read more
