Meet the Candidate: Tusten voters get to ask questions

4 p.m. on Saturday, at the Tusten Town Hall on Bridge St., to give candidates a chance to get to know councilwoman Andrea Reynosa, who is running to continue her term on the Tusten Town Board for another year. The question session will be followed by an evening of Tusten Concerned Citizens' Skydog Supper Club from 5 to 9 p.m., a potluck gathering at which voters will have the chance to talk to Reynosa one on one. Annual Pumpkin Decorating Program

The Western Sullivan Public Library will be holding its annual pumpkin decorating program on Saturday, 10:30am at the Narrowsburg branch and 2:00pm at the Jeffersonville branch. This program is open to all children ages five to eighteen. Registration is required to attend this free program. Please call the Narrowsburg branch at 252-3360 to register.

UDC hires resource specialist

The Upper Delaware Council (UDC) has hired Travis O’Dell of Long Eddy, NY as its resource specialist. O’Dell will provide the non-profit organization with technical support on land and resource management activities relevant to the Congressionally-designated Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River corridor (UDSRR).

O’Dell graduated from Roscoe Central School in 2003. He earned an Associate degree in Applied Science in Fishery and Wildlife Technology in 2005 and a Bachelor’s of Technology degree in Wildlife Management in 2007, both from the SUNY-Cobleskill.  Read more

Paintings Exhibit Opens!

Paintings by Ken Bosch will be exhibited at By Delaine, a gift shop at 44A Main Street, Saturday - Sunday. An artist opening reception is planned for Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
