Motion to sanction Tusten, Lumberland goes down at UDC
A motion by Town of Delaware representative Harold Roeder to declare the towns of Tusten and Lumberland non-conforming with respect to the River Management Plan (RMP) due to their natural gas drilling bans was voted down at the July 5 Upper Delaware Council (UDC) meeting. Read more
Tusten goes for the gold
The Town of Tusten’s waterfront revitalization project, currently in the engineering study and design phase, is one of four included in a special Upper Delaware River Corridor Regional Collaboration, which also includes applications for the planned whitewater park in Port Jervis, a Pond Eddy access parking study for a new river access point and a project to purchase and improve a river access at Sparrowbush in Orange County.
