Forest restoration workshop
Join the Delaware Highlands Conservancy and the Pike-Monroe Woodland Owners Group for a forest restoration workshop at the Milford Experimental Forest. The workshop includes two sessions: an indoor session from 9am-12pm, and an outdoor session from 1pm-3pm. Free and open to the public. Injunction against pipeline demonstrators; free speech protected
Pike County President Judge Joseph Kameen granted a special injunction on March 18, prohibiting civil disobedience in relation to the Tennessee Gas Pipeline (TGP) project in and around Milford. However, the judge also included special protections for free speech rights. Read more

Lincoln lecture and dinner

Pike county bans smoking; County-owned facilities smoke-free
“Pike County is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and campus to promote the health and well being of its employees and constituents and visitors,” and that was one of the reasons that, at the meeting on March 7, the Pike County Commissioners voted to ban smoking and the use of all tobacco products in all county-owned facilities effective immediately. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
