A Facebook page was created by Milford Mayor Robert Fean to allow the public to become informed of the potential dangers at the site of the newly proposed Delaware Valley Elementary School if a gas pipeline were to be constructed near the site. The first session of a Growing Stronger Exercise Program (Strong Women/Strong Men), 4:45–5:45pm, Pike County Administration Bldg. Two fitness plans are offered: 6 weeks for $40 or 12 weeks for $80. The program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The focus is on strength training, diet and exercise in a class setting. Individuals are educated on the effects of diet and exercise on bone health and bone mass to prevent the onset of osteoporosis. Pre-registration, including payment, is required by January 2.
