William Blume arrested for burglary in Liberty

On 06/20/11 the Liberty Police arrested William Blume 27 years old of Liberty, for Burglary in the Second Degree a Felony, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree and Petit Larceny both Misdemeanors.

It is alleged that Blume entered an apartment at 84 Champlin Avenue and stole a Television and a guitar. Blume was arraigned in Town Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail on $10,000.00 bail.

Police in Liberty make several drug busts in recent weeks

Police arrested Tyler Smith, 21, of East Syracuse NY May 28 and Corey Stone, 21, of Syracuse NY. Liberty Police found the men sleeping in a car in the McDonalds parking lot on Sullivan Avenue in the Village.
Officers smelt marihuana when checking the two individuals. Officers later discovered 26.6 grams of marihuana, 7 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms and several tablets of Hydrocodone and Ecstasy.  Read more
