Sunday, March 12, 2012 - A traffic stop of a 2004 Pontiac Vibe on Ferndale-Loomis Rd in the Town of Liberty led to the arrest of a local man, and a ticket for a another. Troopers gave a ticket to Michael T. Cook, age 23 of Liberty, NY. (TRR previously reported that he was arrested, but he was not.)  Read more

The Town of Liberty Planning Board has granted a Special Use Permit to Camp Agudah on Upper Ferndale Road, to allow the camp to build a 100 by 200 foot building to house two indoor basketball courts.  Read more

On Friday March 9th, 2012 the Village of Liberty Police arrested Rebecca Egan, 28 of Liberty after an incident at her residence at the Budget Inn Motel. Village of Liberty Police Officers were called by the Sullivan Count Department of Family Services to assist in the removal of children from the room in which Egan was staying.  Read more
