It’s usually not a good sign when Noel van Swol says, “I almost feel like saying, ‘I told you so.’” And that’s what the board member said at a meeting of the Sullivan West Central School District at the high school on August 23.

Speaking as the chairman of the Facilities Needs Committee, van Swol informed his colleagues that a sinkhole had been discovered at the high school, and the estimated cost to repair it was $3,000 to $8,000.  Read more

Hundreds of relatives, friends and faculty members packed into the gym at Sullivan West Central High School (SW) to celebrate the accomplishments of the 100-plus graduates who successfully completed the final year of their high school careers.
