Frogs and Bogs: A PARS Workshop

After winter’s snow has melted and spring’s rain has fallen, vernal (seasonal) pools are the perfect place to find amphibians and reptiles at Lacawac Sanctuary. Be a Weatherperson! Children's Workshop

Wee ones walk

Lake Ariel Oil Spill

Officials from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) are trying to determine exactly how some heating oil spilled into Lake Ariel. The spill occurred last weekend and was contained with oil booms by by hazmat workers.  Read more
