Leeward workers begin repairs to the Honesdale municipal pool

Workers from the Leeward Company are doing repair work at the Honesdale pool free of charge. “We want to see the pool open for the community so we are donating all the concrete work at the site,” said Eric Linde, owner of the company. Some other businesses have joined the effort and Linde encourages more to come on board.

Honesdale burglary

The Honesdale Borough Police are investigating a burglary which occurred on 05/02/12 between the hours of 6:30 am and 4:00 p.m., at a residence on Grandview Ave. The perpetrator/s gained entry and stole a Sony Bravia 32” TV and a Pan-digital E-Reader.
