Honesdale arrests in multiple break-ins

On September 23, Honesdale Borough Police arrested 22 year old Mark Delade of Dingmans Ferry, and a 17 year old female juvenile from Honesdale. The arrests stem from a three week long investigation of three residential burglaries, and at least five thefts from motor vehicles.  Read more

A Honesdale comedian has pleaded guilty in a charge related to accidentally shooting his daughter in the face. Matthew Holmes, 39, pleaded guilty on September 12 to a count of Recklessly Endangering Another Person.  Read more
