On July 23, The Honesdale Lackawaxen Shipping Association reported to the Honesdale Borough Police that a railroad car sustained damage sometime within the past few weeks. Upon inspection it appeared as though one or more unknown actors attempted to forcibly open two of the rail car doors causing minor damage.
