Howetown Farm Show features antique farm artifacts
A fun and educational show happening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Route 196 in Sterling, south of Hamlin, PA that features live demonstrations of antique farm equipment, including a variety of hit and miss engines, a corn sheller, a rock crusher, a shingle mill, steam engines, an ice cream maker and more. Take a horse-drawn hay ride; observe quilters, spinners and weavers in action; explore a collection of vintage washing machines while enjoying a free sample of ice cream.

Evergreen School opens to wide acclaim One-of-a-kind environmental school offers unique lessons
There’s a brand new school that just opened that is green on the outside and green on the inside. It’s called the Evergreen Elementary School and it is the newest school in the Western Wayne school district. It is called Evergreen because it is a totally green school in construction and instruction. It will be attended by pre-Kindergarten to grade 5 students. Read more
