First Friday will be held at the Calder Cafe in the Equinunk Historical Society, doors open at 6:30pm, music begins around 7:15pm. Enjoy a warming evening of music and fun, plus coffee, tea, hot chocolate and light snacks. All area musicians are welcome, acoustic music only. 570/224-0223.

Ellen Raines Martin Trunk Show Weekend
Ellen Raines Martin is doing a trunk show again this Saturday from 12-4PM and we are very excited as she has taken a space at the new Shops at Duck Harbor Pond formerly The Duck Harbor Antique Store. Election Day Take-out Chicken Dinner at Manchester Community Library
The popular event features a half chicken, baked potato, choice of vegetables, roll, and home-made dessert. $9.00 for a complete dinner, or $5.00 for a half portion of chicken with full sides. Attention now turns to the Historical Society’s next series of entertaining events: the popular “First Fridays” programs at the Calder Cafe, beginning November 2 and continuing until the First Friday in April. If you would like to try out your tunes on an appreciative audience, call Pat at 224-0223. The Cafe is intimate, so acoustic only please. Plan for a 15 minute time slot or three songs, your choice. The Calder Cafe is located at the Equinunk Historical Society in the center of Equinunk. Doors open at 6 p.m., live entertainment starts about 7:15.
