Peter Carmeci, Sullivan County Veterans of Foreign Wars commander, is pictured at Veteran's Day ceremonies at Highland's Hero's Park. Despite threatening skies and intermittent drizzle about 70 persons turned out Wednesday morning for the annual observance of the national holiday honoring all those who served in the armed services.
