On January 1, Pennsylvania’s e-recycling law will require electronics manufacturers to recycle many consumer electronics in proportion to their market share in the Commonwealth.
Dan Card of Waste Management said devices like computers, printers, laptops and keyboards can’t be accepted at landfills, so the Beach Lake Transfer Station will expand its recycling program beginning December 1 to accept these materials from residents and businesses with fewer than 50 employees without charge.  Read more
