The Barryville Farmers’ Market will host a holiday market at the Shohola Fire Department, 325 PA-434, 10am-1pm. Seasonal array of fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs, eggs, meat, baked goods, freshly baked bread, pies, cider, artisan wood cutting boards, bowls and spoons, jewelry and more.
DENiZEN presents "Death's Door," 6-8pm. The exhibit will feature Woody Goldberg's photographs of cemeteries. Poets of the Upper Delaware Writer's Collective will read works, on Friday at 7pm. Opening reception for Sandy Long’s “Portal of Place” at DENiZEN, a new studio space hosted by artist Pat Carullo, 6-8pm. The digital exhibit is an exploration of the interplay between human nature and the natural world. The studio will also be open on Saturday, October 8, from 10am-5pm.
“Visions of Spain” is a special event and exhibit sponsored by the Barryville Area Arts Association, in collaboration with The Hispanic Society of America, New York, to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month. It’s taking place throughout the month of September, with a free reception 4–6pm on September 3.
