The first session of a Growing Stronger Exercise Program (Strong Women/Strong Men), 4:45–5:45pm, Pike County Administration Bldg. Two fitness plans are offered: 6 weeks for $40 or 12 weeks for $80. The program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The focus is on strength training, diet and exercise in a class setting. Individuals are educated on the effects of diet and exercise on bone health and bone mass to prevent the onset of osteoporosis.
