Eagle-viewing trip

January 26, 2013

This free program will begin at the PPL Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center, followed by a guided eagle-viewing bus tour of the Lackawaxen River that leaves from the center. Two time slots: 8-11:30am or 12:30-4:30pm. Transportation provided. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars. This program is free, but space is very limited. Registration is required. Blood drive

Elks Lodge pancake breakfast

Monticello Elks Lodge #1544 all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on, 7am-noon at the Lodge on North St. The menu includes pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausages and potatoes. Proceeds will be utilized for the beautification of the Lodge. $8 for adults, $4 for kids 12 and under and kids under 5 are free. 845/807-2858.
