Vesak program
Dharmakaya Retreat Center hosts a Vesak program to celebrate the significant events of Buddha Shakyamuni’s life, 2pm. Dharma teacher Colin Foote will give a talk on Buddha Shakyamuni followed by prayers and praises of Buddha. Tea and cookies served.

Damascus Township Historical Society opening
The Damascus Township Historical Society welcomes all to the opening of their museum for the 2013 season, 1-4pm. The museum building is located at the corner of Cochecton Turnpike (Route 371) and High School Rd. The museum will be open every Saturday thereafter from 1-4pm through the month of October.
Damascus Memorial Day service
A Memorial Day Program in honor of our nation's veterans is being sponsored by the Damascus Township Historical Society at the Veterans Memorial near the Society's Building, 11am. The speaker will be Joseph Davis. All are welcome. 570/224-4535.
Silent auction
The Livingston Manor Library will hold a silent auction offering services at the Catskill Art Society, the day of the Trout Parade, from 11am-3pm. Proceeds from the auction will help support special programs and projects at the library. 845/439-5440.
