You are welcome to write whatever you are grateful for on the storefront window. The Greenbaums are providing erasable markers that are attached in a bag on the front window. You don’t need to come into the gallery to be able to write on the window. The Greenbaums are sending wishes for everyone to have a joyous and peaceful holiday and new year. The Brick House opens with ribbon cutting

KAUNEONGA LAKE, NY — The Brick House restaurant marked its grand opening on Saturday, December 14 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Members of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce, friends and supporters joined owner Angelo Cracchiolo to celebrate the occasion. The Brick House offers fine dining at affordable prices. NEW WINDSOR, NY — The Orange County Business Accelerator (OCBA), a business incubator that helps entrepreneurs start up new companies, has learned it will receive a $125,000 grant from the New York State Business Incubator and Innovation Hot Spot Support Program.  Read more

Hardship fund helps pay energy bills

NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA — For the past 30 years, PPL Electric Utilities’ Operation HELP hardship fund has been assisting income-eligible customers who find themselves in crisis, unable to pay their home energy bills—perhaps to a single parent who lost their job, for example, or a neighbor whose illness has taken a financial toll. Since 1983, Operation HELP has assisted more than 86,000 families and distributed more than $24 million.  Read more

Local builder completes green picnic area in Delaware State Park

MILFORD, PA — Ed Nikles Custom Builder, Inc. recently completed a new picnic area at Lily Pond’s trailhead and forest demonstration area in Delaware State Park. Milford hosts the first annual Shop to Win Fun Day

All participating businesses will give gifts to be raffled off at the end of the day.
