EQUINUNK, PA — Equifunk is a three-day funk music festival held lakeside at camps Equinunk and Blue Ridge in the hills of Northeast Pennsylvania from August 16 to 18. Guests enjoy lodging or camping, three meals per day, unlimited beer, outdoor pool and waterslide, sports facilities and an array of live entertainment.
New York’s premiere funk-jazz trio Soulive will be one of the weekend’s highlights, with special guests Maceo Parker (legendary sax side-man with James Brown) and the Shady Horns. Other headliners include The New Mastersounds, JJ Grey & Mofro, Anders Osborne with special guest John Medeski, Keller Williams’ new funk ensemble More Than A Little Boombox, and more.
