MILFORD, PA — Pike County Arts and Crafts (PCAC) will hold its summer art show at Ambience, 200 Harford St. on Saturday, July 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. Local artists and craftspeople have the opportunity to show their creative endeavors to their neighbors and community, while providing the community the chance to enjoy and purchase original, one-of–a-kind items from local artists. Paintings, prints, photography, jewelry, pottery, stained glass, sculpture and woodworking will be among the offerings of the artists who are expected to participate.
PCAC is the 2007 winner of the Governor’s Creative Community Award and celebrates 65 years this year. Its mission is 1)To help local artists and crafters of all ages, to learn, to teach and exhibit their work; 2) To encourage young artists in particular; and 3) To enhance the image of our county as an arts community.
