PORT JERVIS, NY — The Port Jervis Free Library will host a concert featuring the String Trio of New York, an internationally known chamber jazz group of acoustic violin, guitar and bass, on Thursday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m.

Critics have called the award-winning trio “one of the finest avant-garde chamber jazz groups around.” Since their founding in 1977, they have been regulars at jazz festivals such as Ravinia and Newport and have been featured on National Public Radio’s Weekend Edition and PRI’s International Concerts.

This is a free program, made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts. For more information and to register call the Port Jervis Free Library at 845/856-7313.
