STARLIGHT, PA — During October, the Big D Art League will feature the work of Eleanor Curran in the gallery at the Inn at Starlight Lake, on Starlight Lake Road. A native New Yorker, Curran splits her time between Starlight and her Greenpoint-Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn. She has studied at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the City University of New York and the Bridgeview School of Fine Art. Her work has been displayed in New York art shows and galleries, including the Kourier Gallery, The Polish and Slavic Art Center, and the gallery of Berkley College’s Brooklyn Campus.
Curran’s work at the Starlight Inn’s gallery will include an autumn photo of Starlight Lake that was a first-prize winner in a Hancock Herald competition. Curran will also be displaying a series of cityscape prints of original oil paintings depicting parts of Brooklyn, NY and Hancock, PA. The exhibit will also include work by other members of the Big D Arts and Crafts League. Visit www.innatstarlightlake.com or call 800/248-2519.
