GLEN SPEY, NY — The Kadampa World Peace Temple will hold its seventh annual Fun Fair on Saturday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 47 Sweeney Rd. Admission and parking are free. The fair will including flea market, local artist vendors and live music. Join in on dance demonstrations and nature walks on 82 acres of natural woodlands. Enjoy fresh food, dessert café and raw juice bar. Explore what has been voted The River Reporter’s “Best Meditation Center” with free guided meditation and temple tours, gift shop and world peace café. There will be a free magic show with Bubbles the Magical Clown, and free health screenings will be held from 12 noon to 2 p.m., provided by public health services. If you’d like to make a weekend of it, onsite accommodation and camping are available. Vendor applications still welcome.
