MONTICELLO, NY — Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library will celebrate National Library Week, April 12 to 18, with a number of activities.
Thursday, April 16 is National Librarian Day. Come for a special librarian story time at 2 p.m. Even if you can’t make it for the story, craft supplies will be available until 5 p.m. Thursday at 6:30 p.m. is the first night for a six-part series, “African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross.” Watch the first episode of the PBS documentary, “The Black Atlantic,” and participate in a discussion moderated by Professor Erroyl Rolle. Also on Thursday, the library board of trustees meets at 6 p.m.
Pre-K story time is on Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. On Saturday, there is a weekly family movie at 2:30 p.m. Call the library for movie titles.
