LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Art Society has announced the opening of a temporary new performance space and community-curated event venue, The Laundry King, a repurposed storefront at 65 Main St. CAS will use this space for 15 months or until its renovation is completed on the second floor of its main building at 48 Main St.
An open house will be held on December 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Laundry King will welcome a variety of offerings including theater, film, music and other performances. During the open house from 7 to 8 p.m., members of the Yarnslingers Memoir Project will present a reading of their latest chapter installments. Visit www.catskillartsociety.org/laundryking.
