SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY — The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop will present “Stop Thief!” a mischievously fun, musically enhanced melodrama by D. Chapelle on Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 20 at 2 p.m. at the Rivoli Theatre.

Victoria V. Leighton directs this cast: Serena Gildersleeve, Ashlyn Nardi, Melissa McTague, Edward Berens, Dennis Grow, Paul Puerschner, Sally Gladden and Teri Paris. Technical director is Jim Schmidt. Harold Tighe is master carpenter and Fran Schiff is set designer. Pianist is Jeff Krolick.

A foul cloud has settled over the peaceful little Catskill village of Strongville. The cloud is none other than Newt Strong, son of Strongville’s leading citizen, Agnes Strong. Newt is out for himself and he doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process. No one is safe from his evil scheming. The only person who can save them all is Ned Strong.
