NARROWSBURG, NY — Three exhibits opened this past weekend at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance. They were “Art in Bloom” curated by Jane Luchsinger, “Broadway” by Glenn Lieberman, and “You Are Here” by Kit Sailer. The “Art in Bloom” show featured a work by an artist accompanied by a floral arrangement. In the first photo above, Carol Vandenberg stands with her flower arrangement and Buff McAllister stands in front of her artwork. The photographs in “Broadway” were black and white representations of the everyday lives of the people on Broadway in Manhattan. One wall featured smaller photographs, the subjects a blur as they are in motion, showing the hustle and bustle of the city’s most famous avenue. In the second photo, Lieberman stand by two of his photos. “You Are Here” featured lush landscapes that Sailer painted in the Beechwoods. She explained that some views were from her home while others were looking at her home, and said where she lives offers a “lifetime of views.” In the third photo, Sailer stands by her painting.
