NARROWSBURG, NY — The fragrance of freshly cut flowers lures you in to this exhibit, which couples the talents of fine artists and floral designers. “Art in Bloom,” curated by Jane Luchsinger of the Narrowsburg Beautification Group, returns to the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) for a third year. The exhibit features live floral arrangements composed by local garden clubs, Master Gardeners and florists, paired alongside paintings and sculptures. Each floral arrangement is a visual interpretation of a local artist’s work, which is also on display.

It opens with a reception on Friday, June 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Krause Recital Hall at the DVAA, 37 Main St., and remains on view through the weekend. The featured floral designers are Jill Weiner; Alison Peck and Jessica Castellano; Jessie Caccavale; Kelley Edkins; Judy Bergstrom, Annie Hilton, Judy Brennan and Danuta Musial of the Community Garden Club of Liberty; Mia and Joe Koerner; Claudine Luchsinger; Carol Vanderberg of Hillside Greenhouse, Liberty; Anne Manby of Sugar Blossom Flowers; and Carol Linkiewicz of Hawley Country Gardeners. The artists are Caroline Verdi, Leslie Shaw Zadoian, Cindy Shechter, Marjorie Morrow, Kit Jones, Richard Rosenblatt, Jeff George, Buff McAllister and Candy Spilner.
