As the second oldest Memorial Day parade in New York State, the Town of Fremont has been saluting those who protect the freedom of citizens for 130 years. Following the parade, an invocation and tributes at Pratt Park, the town hall and village cemetery were held along with a traditional barbeque that was attended by veterans and their families from neighboring towns who turn out each year to participate in the historical event.
