HONESDALE, PA — Following a 47-year tradition, the Wayne County Creative Arts Council will once again present a summer of musical events in Honesdale. The series of 14 concerts in Honesdale’s Central Park will feature many favorites from past years, and will also introduce the Bill Arnold Band to local audiences.
The performers include Northeasters Barbershop Chorus, Gypsy Jazz Quintet, The Bill Arnold Band, Fiddlin’ Around trio, The Wayne Choralaires, Doug Rogers and the Backstreet Drivers, Hickory Rose, The Irish Balladeers, Old Time Fiddlers, Flashback, The Pharm, The Crackers and Joe Stanky and the Cadets.
All concerts are free, but a free-will collection will be made to help defray the costs of the season. Additional funding comes from contributions from merchants, individuals and from a grant from the Pocono Vacation Bureau. In case of rain, concerts will be moved to the nearby Episcopal Parish Hall. Bring a blanket or chair.
