HONESDALE, PA — The Cooperage Project announces the return of the “Concerts in the Coop” series beginning on Friday, March 28 with master fiddler Steve Jacobi and The Old Time Fiddlers.
Twenty or so performers will take to the stage—on guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass, accordion, harmonica and, of course, fiddles to celebrate American roots music that blends the styles of many traditions into something all its own. You might recognize strains of Scottish, Irish, Quebecois folk, Texas swing, and bluegrass.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Music begins at 7:30. BYOB. Donations collected at the door. Visit www.thecooperageproject.org or call 570/253-2020.
