LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Art Society presents a staged performance reading of the one-act play “An Iliad” by Lisa Peterson and Denis O’Hare at the CAS Arts Center on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. The performance features veteran actor Chet Carlin of Parksville in the starring role.

“An Iliad” is a modern-day retelling of Homer’s classic. Poetry and humor, the ancient tale of the Trojan War and the modern world, collide in this theatrical experience. The New York Times called the play “spellbinding… smartly conceived and impressively executed.”

The play runs approximately 85 minutes with no intermission. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $20. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited. Call 845/436-4227 or email info@catskillartsociety.org.
