LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Art Society (CAS) will present John B. Johnston for “Light and Reflection,” an optical illusion demonstration at the CAS Arts Center on Sunday, February 16 at 2 p.m.
Come explore the magic of mirrors, lenses, and light. Retired physics teacher Johnston will show off an array of specially crafted tools and contraptions to demonstrate the eye-popping properties of real-life phenomena.
This event will be held in tandem with the current CAS exhibition “Reflective Surfaces,” featuring the photography of Julia Forrest and Flora Hogman. It is on display at the CAS Arts Center through February 23.
The show is for adults and teens age 16+. This event is free and open to the public, and small donations will be accepted at the door. For more information, visit www.catskillartsociety.org.
