A night of coffee and music

HONESDALE, PA — Coffee House is back at The Cooperage. Stop by on Saturday, February 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. for a night of coffee and music by local musicians.

As this is the first Coffee House of 2014, the lineup is special. The Cooperage will welcome back Roger Hill and his Loose End Blues Band. Roger is a seasoned organic farmer, a skilled artist and a musician. Next up is Dave Ingerson a singer-songwriter from northern Wayne County. He is a member of the band “Black Sage Project.” He plays everything from bluegrass to Celtic music. Also performing will be Robert Dugan and Randy Light. Dugan started off as a drummer playing guitar on the side. Joining him is Randy Light, the bandleader of Lighten Up!, who has been playing music professionally for nearly 30 years. He attributes his influences to the swing music of his mother’s jazz and Dixieland band.

This event is BYOB. Donations are accepted. Coffee and treats will be available for purchase from the kitchen. Visit www.thecooperageproject.org or call 570/253-2020.
