WURTSBORO, NY — The Wurtsboro Board of Trade will host Wurtsboro Winterfest on Saturday, February 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day will feature an ice carving competition from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (judging at 2 p.m.), a chili cook-off contest from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (award ceremony at 3 p.m.) and a treasure hunt at 11 a.m. (drawing for the winner 3 p.m.).
The Wurtsboro Art Alliance will have an art exhibit and refreshments will be served. There will be face painting and children’s activities. Crystal Connection will offer psychic/intuitive readings from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., along with a special Valentine’s Day sale. The BashaKill Area Association will present its “Birds of Prey” show by the Ravensbeard rescue group at 1 p.m. at the Community Church of Wurtsboro. All shops and restaurants are open for the day.
