HAWLEY, PA — Featured in Oprah Magazine and selected as emerging artists of the year by Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Harmony Presents brings folk-rock band Miles to Dayton to the Hawley Silk Mill on Saturday, January 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Having opened for The Subdudes, Richie Havens, Leslie West, Jorma Kaukonen, Tom Paxton, Jen Chapin, Southside Johnny, the Asbury Jukes, and others, this band blends elements of folk, rock, classical and funk. Miles to Dayton features four-part vocal harmony, songwriting, improvisational violin and cello, and a rhythm section.
Cocoon Coffee House caters snacks, coffee, wine and beer prior to the show and during intermission. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $16 either online at www.harmonypresents.com or by visiting AMSkier Insurance, 209 Main St., during regular business hours and on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tickets at the door cost $20.
